Sexual Orientation Discrimination

Sexual Orientation Discrimination

Sexual orientation discrimination involves treating an employee differently solely because of his or her sexual orientation, whether homosexual, heterosexual or bisexual.

Sexual orientation discrimination can include:

  • Hiring, termination, promotion, pay discrepancies, or other employment decisions based on actual or perceived sexual orientation.
  • Harassment or derogatory comments based on your mannerisms or sexual activity
  • Applying different standards or expectations to employees or applicants of a certain sexual orientation that are not applied to other employees or applicants
  • Denial of benefits or rewards to employees or applicants of a certain sexual orientation that are not denied to other employees or applicants

We are committed to enforcing the rights of employees who have been subjected to discriminatory decisions concerning employment. Our experienced attorneys are available to represent employees who believe they have been discriminated against as a result of their sexual orientation.

If you would like to consult with us or have questions concerning your particular situation, please contact us to find our more about your legal rights at 518-218-7100 or via email at info@tullylegal.com.
