Intellectual Property Law

Intellectual property  is a creation or invention of the mind that may not have a physical construction. Intellectual property is divided into two categories: Industrial property, which includes patents/inventions as well as trademarks and industrial designs, and copyright, which includes literary and artistic works such as architectural designs, drawings and performances. Under intellectual property law, the holder of one of these “properties” has certain exclusive rights to that invention or creative work.
