Richard M. Liebman, Esq.

Of Counsel

Richard brings many years of experience to Tully Rinckey. He has a comprehensive knowledge of real estate, real estate financing, leasing, and Brownsfield transactions. Richard also brings retail commercial lease negotiating experience where he represented two major retailers and one major mini storage company in negotiating new store and warehouse locations.

Some of Richard’s past casework includes representing a major life insurance company with a $55 million mortgage loan secured by four buildings, the purchase and financing of retail drug stores in 12 different states for $61 million, and representing a seller in connection with the sale of a New York City office building for $80 million together with all development rights.

Richard earned his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School. Prior to law school, Richard received his B.A. with high honors from University of Denver. He also holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing Management from Baruch College-City University of New York.

Richard is an active member of the American Bar Association and New York State Bar Association. He is also the mayor’s appointee as owner’s representative for the New York City Loft Board.
